About me

I'm a fifth-year computer science student at Toronto Metropolitan (formerly Ryerson) University. I'm open to full-time/new-grad opportunities from May 2025 onwards. My interests lie in Software Development, Data Engineering and Data Analytics. I've recently dived into artificial intelligence and machine learning and would also enjoy roles encompassing them.

Experience

Over the summer of 2024, I moved to Vancouver, BC to work at Mastercard as an Associate Consultant Intern. There, I was able to work on big data projects and get experience in a client-facing role. It's an experience that honed my skills in data analysis and introduced me to the field of fraud and finance.

I completed a 16-month internship in the defense sector at L3Harris Technologies. I was on the Data Analytics and Business Intelligence team as a Business Intelligence Developer. I was spent the majority of my time there as the only intern in the IT department, allowing me to work closely with seniors on important projects. Going into my internship, I barely knew what business intelligence was. By the time I returned to school, I was immersed into the field and can see myself pursuing it in the future. Some of my achievements from my time at L3Harris are highlighted on my resume.

Before entering the software industry, I took on tutoring positions. I held positions at Ontario Learning Development Foundation and Paper Education respectively. I found myself to be quite good at teaching and decided to make use of it.

At University, I've taken part in business competitions through DECA and Together 2021. I was also briefly on MSA. I've also participated in hackathons such as RU (Ryerson University) Hacks and UL Hacks. Some of the projects can be found here.

Other

Away from the computer, I'm a sports fanatic. I enjoy watching and playing a variety of sports from football (soccer) to basketball to hockey to badminton. Growing up, I enjoyed being on sports teams, it always brought out the competitive side of me. I support the Leafs (unfortunately), Raptors, Manchester United (even more unfortunately) and any underdog during F1 races.

Aside from sports, I'm a big foodie and like to discover new restuarants with my friends. I also have bad habits of binge-watching shows on Netflix and listenting to the same songs over and over again on Spotify.

Recently, I've been obsessed with my polaroid camera and have been trying to get the best shots I can.
